Visitors will be able to see the permanent civic collection, located on three floors of the Villa, with large canvases by Giovanni Fattori and other current leaders of the Macchiaioli (Silvestro Lega, Telemaco Signorini, Vincenzo Cabianca, Giovanni Boldini and others). Not to mention distinguished post-macchiaioli as Eugenio Cecconi and Vittorio Corcos and divisionists as Benvenuto Benvenuti and Plinio Nomellini. On the first floor you can also visit the illustrious futurist works, with Osvaldo Peruzzi 6 livornese, partly donated by the heirs to the artist’s death. On the ground floor a special display of religious art.

In the adjacent Granaries of Villa Mimbelli you can visit the exhibition “Jews in Tuscany during the 20th and 21st centuries”. A travelling exhibition consisting of over 70 panels that, through a narrative of images, documents, texts and multimedia productions, tells the story of the Jewish communities of Tuscany and their links with the Italian Jewish community and with the international one. The texts in Italian and English, lend themselves to a variety of crosscutting reading and are decorated with reproductions of archival papers, book covers and designs but mostly by an extraordinary array of photographic reproductions generously made available by private family archives and from foundations and cultural institutions.
