The Grand Prix of Italy September 12, 1937, left Monza to be held at circuit of Ardenza, under the name “15° Grand Prix of Italy – XVII Coppa Ciano”; it was developed on the track of Ardenza – Antignano for 50 laps, equal to 360 km. The race was won by Caracciola on Mercedes Benz W125 Dalmier Benz AG.

After 80 years Livorno Topolino (Mickey Mouse) Club, which generally represents a piece of motorsports history of our town, makes her this exhibition, coining and depositing the label ” Ardenza circuit”

Thus, the re-enactment of that wonderful event, was born 80 years later, on 29 and 30 April. It will take place, in part on the old route, then expanding within the province of our city.

The event will start from Rotonda of Ardenza at 14.00 on day 29 and will end on day 30 April at 12.00 hours.

The cars will be seen on the departure from the roundabout, on the course and from 11.00 to 13.30 and from 20.00 to 23.00 outside the Grand’Hotel Palace on day 29 and from 11.30 to 13.00 on static display in piazza Grande.

The event, besides being organized by Livorno Topolino (Mickey Mouse) Club is in A.S.I. Calendar and will include about 50 skill checks.
